Andhra Pradesh Opposition Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be launching the ‘Raithu Bharosa Yatra’ (Farmers Assurance Yatra) from 22nd February.
YS Jagan will be consoling the families of farmers who have end their lives by committing suicide due to mounting debt burden in Anantapur district. Announcing the program to the reporters, YSRCP Program coordinator Talasila Raghuram and MLA Visweswara Reddy informed that several farmers have end their lives by committing suicide due to the non-implementation of loan waiver.
The YSRC Party chief blamed CM Naidu for stating that not a single farmer had committed suicide, during his speech in Assembly sessions. He added that he has submitted proof of farmers’ suicides, and also assured that he would meet the bereaved families personally and console them if the TDP government fails to rescue them.
Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy informed that the list of farmers who have committed suicide due to agricultural debt in AP till date has been submitted to the Assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasad.
