Political sources reveal that YS Jagan is trying to rope-in former Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar to join the YSRCP. Mr. Undavalli was a loyalist of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and close friend of KVP Ramachandra Rao. He has quit politics post the state bifurcation and has been staying away.
Now, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is keen on strengthening the party in AP is keen on inviting a few YSR loyalists, and sources reveal that Undavalli is his top priority. Also the political analysts believe that Arun Kumar’s entry will boost up the Opposition party and attract a lot more reputed people into the Party.
Several senior leaders who joined YSRCP earlier are leaving the party for not getting their due recognition from the Party Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. Although Jagan didn’t invite Undavalli into the party when he established YSRCP, he seems to have now sent an invitation considered the party losing its sheen in the state.
In this situation, it is to be seen if the former Congress MP will make re-entry in to politics and join YSRCP.
