Ahead of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections, TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday has wooed the Seemandhra electorate claiming that there is no one called Settlers in Hyderabad, and TRS government will not show any discrimination between the people.
“There are no settlers in Hyderabad, and please leave the feeling that we are settlers. My government does not discriminate based on region. Your grandfathers and fathers have settled here and many of you all are born and brought up in Hyderabad too,” CM KCR told these statements while a large number of people joined the TRS from Kukatpally.
“My native is Siddipet in Medak district. But my grandchild says he is from Hyderabad,” he further added. The Telangana CM also announced that the government will soon hold a meeting to discuss the problems of settlers, and the division of locals or non-locals in Telangana was over with the formation of State. He added that the government will resolve problems of everyone who settled down in the state including Hyderabad, and stand by people irrespective of their regional affiliation.
