Renowned Producer and Movie Moghul Dr. D. Ramanaidu (79) passed away this afternoon around 2.45 PM. He has been suffering from cancer from past few months and has breathed his last.
Ramanaidu holds the Guinness World Record with 150 plus films in 12 Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Oriya et al.
The eminent producer has started the Suresh Productions banner with super hit film Raamudu Bheemudu in 1964. Ramanaidu is recipient of the third highest civilian award, Padma Bhushan and India’s highest award in cinema Dadasaheb Phalke Award. The eminent producer has also represented Baptala constituency in Guntur District from 1999-2004.
He is survived by his wife and 3 children and grandchildren. His sons Venkatesh and Suresh Babu are highly successful in Tollywood, while his his grandsons Rana and Naga Chaitanya are making their mark.
