TDP Leader Jupudi Prabhakar came down heavily on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekara Rao in the phone-tapping issue. He has alleged KCR has violated democratic principles, and due to him several groups in Telangana have been have been raising their voice with various forms of agitations.
“The TRS government tapped 120 telephones of TDP leaders including AP CM Chandrababu Naidu till the day of elections. He has to answer to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about phone tapping. TRS government has violated law by democratic principles by tapping phones,” Jupudi said.
Jupudi went on to warn KCR to resign from Chief Minister Post, and advised him to choose between KTR, Harish Rao and Kavitha to be his successor. He further reminded him of the consequences of the phone-tapping in different states,
Meanwhile, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has convened a meeting on Tuesday at his residence in Hyderabad, where several Police officers and senior Ministers have partaken. Mr.Naidu has reportedly discussed on the alleged phone-tapping issue, and action to be taken by his government. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, AP government media advisor Parakala Prabhakar, DGP JV Ramudu, Union Minister Sujana Chowdary and other Ministers have partaken in the meet.
