The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad managed to retain the third rank among the best airports in the world in 5-15 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA) category in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards.
The Airports Council International (ACI) has announced the awards and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), managed by GMR Group has been ranked third best airport in the world, for the sixth consecutive year with a score of 4.82 for year 2014.
S.G.K. Kishore, CEO, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) said, “We are honored that RGIA continues to be ranked among the top three airports in its category for the 6th consecutive year by ACI. Last year we were one of the few airports who were awarded the ACI Director General’s Roll of Excellence for consistently being in the top rankings in the world in its category for five consecutive years”.
Since its establishment, the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has been consistently rated amongst the top 3 airports in the world.
