Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) was given the required permission by the Election Commission of India (ECI) for organizing the international ‘Aqua Aquaria’, slated for February 20th to February 22nd.
The EC has granted the permission for the public representatives for attending the event but has put a condition that there will not be a political speech or the statement during the event.
MPEDA Chairman Leena Nair, District Elector Officer and Krishna District Collector Babu. A, made a representation after the Chief Election Officer Bhanwar Lal gave a relaxation for the international seminar-cum-expo from the Model Code of Conduct.
The inaugural function will be attended by CM Chandrababu Naidu, several MLAs, MLCs, State and Central Ministers and other dignitaries. All the dignitaries visited the Andhra Loyola College (ALC) grounds for the three day event on Wednesday. The security arrangements are being taken care of.
