Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has instructed the officials of Madanapalle town to release the drinking water once in two days, while currently it has been once in four days.
Mr. Naidu, addressing a public meet at Tamballapalle in Madanapalle revenue division said that the government will soon grant the required funds to resolve water woes in the town. The AP CM visited the place for the Neeru-Chettu launch programme.
Chandrababu also spoke about Handri Neeva project, and stated that he would directly supervise the second phase works of the lift irrigations project. He informed that the water availability from the project will be supplied to Punganur and eastern parts of the district, besides Madanapalle from the Swarnamukhi-Somalasila project.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has participated in the aerial inspection of the Handri-Neeva irrigation project.
