TDP leader and Rajya Sabha MP C.M. Ramesh has dismissed the allegations on him in connection with the cash-for-vote scam. While there were allegations on him that it was from his bank account, the transactions of the bribe money were used in the cash-for-vote-scam, Mr.Ramesh strongly condemned such allegations.
Responding to the claims that the Telangana ACB is set to give notices to him, CM Ramesh challenged the investigating agency stating that the ACB sleuths can indeed approach the bank and check his bank account and see the details of amount withdrawn. The TDP MP claimed that it was Telangana government that has hatched the political conspiracy via cash-for-vote scam to tarnish TDP’s image ahead of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.
CM Ramesh stated that the TDP has strong base in Hyderabad even after the bifurcations of the states, and thus TRS was trying to hatch political conspiracies in the name of the cash-for-vote episode to defame the party.
He challenged YSRCP President YS Jagan that he would resign to the post if he can prove that Rs 50 lakh have been withdrawn from his account for the deal, otherwise YS Jagan should offer his resign. He also lashed out at Jagan’s Sakshi channel.
