Anushka’s Rudrama Devi movie which was supposed to hit the hit the screens on 26th June was postponed by a month to July. The delay in the 3D works have resulted in postponement of the film’s release.
“In the CG studios across the country and abroad, hundreds of technicians are working for Rudhramadevi to give the best VFX output, it is taking longer than we expected and we regret not being able to meet the release date on June 26th,” stated the team officially.
Anushka plays the titular role as Rudrama Devi in the film, while Stylish Star Allu Arjun is playing a cameo as Gona Gannareddy and Rana, Nithya Menon, Catherine Tresa, Hamsa Nandini and Baba Sehgal are playing prominent roles.
Gunasekhar is wielding the megaphone for the movie, besides also investing on the project under the banner of Guna Arts. Maestro Ilayaraja is scoring the music and Jayanan Vincent is cranking the camera. The film’s director disclosed that the film was made with a whopping 70 Crores budget.
