The Note-for-vote-scam has become the talk of the town, and the TDP Chief and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu is witnessing a lot of heat from the Opposition parties. The Congress and YSRCP leaders are holding dharnas against TDP government, demanding his resignation.
Congress senior leader Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, speaking to media demanded Chandrababu to resign from Chief Minister Post over the allegations on him in the cash-for-vote scam. He also blamed Naidu of creating differences between the Telugu-speaking states in order to escape from the case. “Chandrababu is the kingpin of the entire scam. He should quit from his post and cooperate with the investigation,” Anam said.
Anam has even backed actor and Hindupur MLA Balakrishna for the state’s Chief Minister position and stated that he had all the abilities to replace Naidu.
Congress leaders on Monday held a massive dharna at the Dharna Chowk near Indira Park against Chandrababu Naidu and demanded explanation from him on the allegations against his government. APCC chief Raghuveera Reddy, MP KVP, former Union Minister Killi Kruparani and other senior leaders have partaken in the dharna.
